CAPE MAY – The Holman Family cut down their 35’ Blue Spruce tree and donated it to Congress Hall Nov. 19. The Christmas tree at Congress Hall is a time honored tradition for the quaint town of Cape May. The Holman’s planted this tree over 20 years ago and enjoyed decorating it with their grandchildren. Unfortunately, this special tree caught a disease and had to be taken down. This holiday season is the tree’s last grand display, and the family couldn’t be happier to see it go out in style. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on December 5 on Congress Hall’s Lawn following the holiday concert in the ballroom at 8pm.
