NORTH WILDWOOD – This City celebrates Halloween in a big way. There are three opportunities for costumed folks to fill goody bags with treats.
On Wed., Oct. 31, the hours for traditional Trick or Treating are 5 – 8 p.m.
On the same evening, the North Wildwood Rec Center will host a “Trunk or Treat” event from 6:30 – 8 p.m. in the Municipal Parking Lot, Second and Old New Jersey avenues. More than just candy, there will be prizes for the best decorated vehicles, too. And everyone has a great time!
Vehicles must be registered; forms are available at the Rec Center, Ninth and Central avenues. Call 609-522-2955 for more information.
And if that weren’t enough, the Greater Wildwood Elks will host their annual Halloween Haunted House at the Lodge, First and Old New Jersey avenues. There, brave Trick or Treaters walk through the spooky Haunted House to receive treats. This free event is 5 – 8 p.m. Call 609-729-2170 for more information.
Meanwhile, if you haven’t already, you’ll want to register for the Halloween House Decorating Contest. It’s open to North Wildwood and West Wildwood residents. Prizes will be awarded!
Registration forms are available at the Rec Center and they’re due by Oct. 22. Houses will be judged on Thur., Oct. 25. Winners will be contacted by phone. Visit North Wildwood Recreation Center on Facebook or call 522-2955 for more info.
