Halloween Comes to Early to Cold Spring Village

By Herald Staff

COLD SPRING- The 20th Annual Pumpkin Festival celebrated all things Halloween and autumn on the grounds of Historic Cold Spring Village Sat., Oct. 15
Pumpkin painting and children’s games were in abundance and a variety of crafters sold their wares along the village’s shell-paved lanes.
A haunted house was set up in the Village Barn and a hayride wound through the farm. A Children’s Halloween Parade was held at noon throughout the village lanes. Vendors sold hot dogs, popcorn and pretzels, funnel cake, and other snacks.
