AVALON – Santa’s “Ho-Ho-Ho” rang out over the many wide-eyed children as the Golden Inn hosted Caring For Kids’ families for its annual Breakfast With Santa. Through the Inn’s generosity, any hint of existing frowns were quickly turned upside down, and for a few fun hours, this year’s tough times were forgotten for many of our county’s children and families.
Along with a wonderful breakfast, fun times included a visit and gift from Santa, family pictures, singing, crafts and gift wrapping for mom and dad. To help prepare for the breakfast festivities, many caring individuals offered time, talent and toys, for the 250 children and families that attended – all joining together to make sure that no child went without as the Inn opened its doors for this unique family event.
Caring For Kids is a family support organization that offers partnered activities for growing parents interested in strengthening their family and promoting their child’s wellbeing and school success.
