Easter Bunny Hops By Cape May County Park and Zoo

By Herald Staff

COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Park and Zoo will host the Easter Bunny during a special free event on Saturday, March 27th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors will have an opportunity to have their picture taken with the popular rabbit – so bring your camera.
The annual event sponsored by the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders includes educational displays, crafts, goodies and live animal encounters. The event will kick off with an Easter Egg Hunt in the park at 10 a.m.
“This is the seventh year the County is hosting the famous bunny and we hope our residents and visitors stop by to see him and then spend the day visiting the nearly 600 animals that call the Cape May County Zoo their home,” said Freeholder Director Daniel Beyel.
The free Zoo, located in the Cape May County Park on US Highway 9, 1 block west of Garden Sate Parkway exit 11 in Cape May Court House, is open year round. Currently the Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. until 3:45 p.m.
