Santa’s Mailbox will be in front of Santa’s Workshop located at 138 85th Street in Sea Isle starting Friday November 29 at 6 PM when Santa will be there to turn on the Animated Holiday Windows featuring Santa making his toys. Right after, Santa will enter the building for the TI Civic Center’s annual Open House featuring cookies and cakes, hot chocolate, and more.
Help Santa decorate the twenty-foot Holiday Community tree in side the Center, color holiday pictures or sit with Santa at the fireplace. At 6:45, Santa and the children will light the tree. At 7 PM, the TI Civic Center’s Annual Holiday Show with Santa will start. Tickets are $5 for a child and $10 for an adult. This annual event has delighted young and old for generations and is highlighted by holiday music, treats and plenty of Christmas cheer.
The Center’s exterior will be transformed once again by Santa into Santa’s Workshop. As families approach the Civic Center at 138 85th Street in Sea Isle, they will peer into the four front holiday windows to view several Christmas scenes – from animated characters to Santa and his elves making toys in his work shop and Santa in his sleigh flying over rooftops delivering gifts.
Then, once inside, everyone will enjoy a table filled with treats and hot chocolate before sitting in front of the Civic Center’s gold-trimmed stage, an eye-catching feature of this historic landmark. Soon, children will be laughing in the aisles during the holiday show presented by Tucker’s Tales, who entertains the audience with a lively performance.
After several sing-a-longs and a series of acts featuring Santa and his elves on a holiday quest, the children in the audience will be brought to their feet by the announcement that Santa Claus is arriving. Moments later, the youngsters will be face-to-face with the jolly-old-elf, who listens attentively as each child mentions items on their wish-list. Then ho-ho-ho and a wink of an eye, Santa hands-out toys and poses for pictures.
