Stand firm Christian soldier the battle has been won,
Our Father in Heaven sent his one and only son,
The enemy defeated as he knew not the plan that day,
No weapons of this world to show but humbly he prayed,
That as he lived upon this earth and offered to us love,
He reflected as a mirror the very face of God,
Men as sheep were wandering lost in stagnant waters,
Steeping in their sin they bred a horrible condition,
Eternal separation from the God they needed so,
He offered a solution for this problem he did go,
Straight to a cross with his very life to give,
The remedy for all mankind…forgiveness for all sin,
Cry out to him this Christmas it’s all in his marvelous name,
Jesus our redeemer, Jesus this newborn King!
