COURT HOUSE – Freeholder E. Marie Hayes invites the public to come to the Cape May County Park and Zoo for a special free event featuring the Easter Bunny on March 23, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors will have an opportunity to have their picture taken with the popular rabbit – so bring your camera.
The annual event sponsored by the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders includes educational displays, crafts and live animal encounters. The event will kick off with an Easter Egg Hunt in the park at 10 a.m.
Freeholder Hayes said, “This is the county’s 10th Annual Easter Bunny in the Park event and we invite our residents and visitors to stop by to see the Easter Bunny and then spend the day visiting the more than 500 animals that call the Cape May County Zoo their home,”
The free Zoo, located in the Cape May County Park on Route 9 North, 1 block west of Garden State Parkway exit 11 in Cape May Court House, is open year round.
