COURT HOUSE – Here are just a few Halloween parties & activities throughout the county….
Cape May-
Cape May Lewes Ferry will host Halloween Trick or Treat Cruises on Oct. 27 & Oct. 28 departing at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. from Cape May. The cost is $14 for ages 14 and up, $9 for ages 6-13 and free for children five years and younger. Congress Hall will host a Phantom Ball on Oct. 26 from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. in the Ballroom. The theme is “Creepy Fairy Tales” so be sure to dress up as your favorite storybook character … gone bad! There will be a variety of contests and prizes for Funniest, Best Couple, Best Group and many more as well as snacks, live entertainment and psychic readings. Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities presents Scarecrow Alley now through Nov. 4 on the grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate. Be sure to take a stroll along the grounds and vote for your favorite scarecrow, which were all designed by members of the community! In addition, there will be specially-themed tours and events including Ghostwriter Trolley Rides, Madame Parmentier’s Psychic Teas, Midnight at the Physick Estate, Historic Haunts Combination Tours, Phantoms of the Physick Estate and much more to help you get into the “spirit” of the season now through Oct. 31. Country Club Tavern’s Halloween Party will take place on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. with Banana Trio performing live.
