Cooler By A Mile Trick or Treating in Avalon

AVALON — This borough will celebrate Halloween all weekend long with special events on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 30-31.
On Saturday, the Avalon Department of Recreation will be holding a special Halloween Party for children at the Avalon Community Hall, located at 30th Street and the beach. The event runs 1-3 p.m. and includes the following events: 1:15-2 p.m., Costume Contest (newborns up to and including 4th grade); 2-2:45 p.m., Sara O’Brien and the Honey Babes perform; 2:45-3 p.m., Breaking of the piñata.
Refreshments will also be served during the event. The party is free, and open to the public.

On Halloween Sunday, trick or treating will be held in Avalon between the hours of 5:00-8:00pm. The Avalon Police Department reminds all motorists to exercise extra caution during trick or treating.
