COURT HOUSE — The leaves are falling, summer is a fond memory and our thoughts now turn to the holiday season. Your donation of a turkey will help another family enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. You can drop off your turkey (frozen only please) on Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at any of the following places:
• ShopRite Galloway, 41 S. Pitney Road
• Acme Seaville, 2087 Shore Road
• Acme Cape May Court House, 11 Courthouse S. Dennis Road
• Acme Mays Landing, 4454 Black Horse Pike
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey, 6735 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Township is accepting donations daily, Mon. through Fri., from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Other food items in need are soups, meals in a can like stews, canned tuna, peanut butter, cereal, pastas and sauces. Cans or plastic jars only please.
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey locally serves over 280 agencies in Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties, providing food to those in need. For more information call 609-383-8843.
