Christmas Pajama Gifts

By Karla Kiefer

My parents and siblings stood as tall as my 2-year-old sister looking good as the youngest one dressed in matching red and white pajamas, all of us kids hatching a plot for a snow fight on the morrow.
Christmas Eve, we stood together borrowing on the love of Jesus in our faces. All seven of us were clad in checkered shirt embraces, shown us by parents providing pants, which elastic waistbands held on our legs.
Legs strong from gregarious eating we were blessed with heat at our home in a safe neighborhood.
Kiefer writes from Cape May.
