Brendan Borek to Hold 10th Annual Turkey Trot

COURT HOUSE – Throughout the year Brendan’s Fund holds fundraising events to support our programs to assist Cape May County families who have a child or young adult with cancer. The community continues to show a tremendous outpouring of support for these events. We truly appreciate the support we receive from all those who attend.
The 10th Annual Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, 2012. The 5K run/walk event will start at 9 a.m.; registration begins 8 a.m. at Cape Fitness located at 600 Park Boulevard, West Cape May, NJ. Pre-registration can be done at Cape Fitness or by calling 609-898-1515. Early Registration Fee $20 for adults, $18 for students (by 10/29/12) Entry fee after the 29th is $25 Adult and still $18 for students.
Since Cape Fitness is holding its 10th Annual Turkey Trot on November 22nd, Thanksgiving Day, for the benefit of Brendan’s Fund. We are currently looking for sponsors for our event. A $50 sponsorship will help insure the success of our 5K run. Donors will have their name imprinted on the back of our race shirt* and be acknowledged on our web-site and newspaper thank you advertisement. Over 250 runners and walkers participated in last year’s event.
*11/01/12 is the deadline for sponsors to have their name on the shirt, as well as for runners to be guaranteed a shirt.
