COURT HOUSE – A holiday open house at the Cape May County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center is slated for Sunday, Dec. 12 from noon to 3 p.m. Santa will be on hand from noon until 2 p.m. for free photos with pets. Refreshments will be available.
“Every year during the holidays the citizens of Cape May County generously donate to the shelter,” said Sheriff Gary Schaffer. “We encourage everyone to visit during the open house, talk with the staff and take a tour of our facility so you can see what your donations are supporting.”
The Cape May County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center is located in the Crest Haven Complex at 110 Shelter Road in Cape May Court House (Exit 11 off the Garden State Parkway). The facility is open Monday through Friday 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays (closed on legal holidays).
