SEA ISLE CITY – The happy faces of the children hunting Easter eggs warmed up the windy, but sunny afternoon at Dealy Field during the Sea Isle City Annual Easter Program, sponsored by the Recreation Department on March 24.
The event offered children 11 years old and under face painting, a jellybean counting contest, “Bunny Hop” sack races, an egg hunt, and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny.
“This year was our biggest turnout yet,” said Nicole Holt from the Sea Isle City Recreation Department. “This really is a wonderful, family-friendly event.”
The “Bunny Hop” sack race was a big hit as even the adults had a great time as they hopped towards the finish.
Families were able to get photos with the Easter Bunny and although the wind blew the Easter eggs around, the children had a great time hunting for them.
