VAMC Offers Free Influenza Immunizations to Eligible Veterans

CAPE MAY – The seasonal flu vaccine is available at the Wilmington VA Medical Center and the Northfield, Vineland, Cape May, Dover and Georgetown clinics. A complete vaccine schedule is available online at www.wilmington.va.gov. All eligible military Veterans are encouraged to get a free influenza vaccination. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend the seasonal flu vaccine as soon as it is available. The vaccine clinic schedule is available at http://www.wilmington.va.gov. Vaccinations are available to enrolled Veterans.
Veterans may come to any scheduled appointment or stop by their Primary Care Team. any time during the day to receive a flu shot starting Sept. 18. Walk-ins may have a short wait.
Wilmington VA’s Flu Shot Clinics will be held in the ground floor Auditorium (see below schedule). There is one afternoon/evening clinic and one Sat. clinic. Our MyHealtheVet Program. Coordinator will be on-site during the flu shot clinics. If you have a MyHealtheVet account, we can authenticate your account giving you more access to your health information online safely and securely.

Sept. 20, 2012 in the Auditorium from 9 a.m. to 12 Noon
Sept. 22, 2012 (Sat.), Drive-thru (Valet Entrance), 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Oct. 4, 2012 in the Auditorium from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon
Oct. 11, 2012 in the Auditorium from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon
Oct. 18, 2012 in the Auditorium from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon
Oct. 24, 2012 (Afternoon and early evening) in the Auditorium from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Nov. 1, 2012 in the Auditorium from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon
Nov. 15, 2012 in the Auditorium from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon
Nov. 29, 2012 in the Auditorium from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon
Community Based Outpatient Clinic hours begin Sept. 21 during the hours below:
Vineland CBOC – Wed./Fri., 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Ventnor CBOC – Wed., 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Cape May CBOC – Wed., 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Call clinic for access in the afternoon.
Dover CBOC – Fri., 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Georgetown CBOC – Fri., 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
