Our Breast Health Navigator team provides a variety of support services to assist out breast cancer patients on their journey. They set up appointments and help patients keep track of them, assist with referrals, and provide information on resources and insurance.
We are dedicated to providing a healthier life to our patients – right here, close to home.
Know Your Risk
Risk factors for breast cancer vary depending on personal medical history, genetics and lifestyle. It’s important for every woman to be aware of any known risk factors and to discuss them with her physician. Experts suggest the following for prevention of breast cancer:

  • Maintain a healthy weight
  • East a low-fat diet
  • Exercise
  • Limit alcohol intake
  • Limit menopausal hormone use
  • Breastfeed, if possible

Get Screened
The American Cancer Society recommends that women ages 45 to 54 should have a mammogram, a specialized x-ray of the breast that can reveal tumors before they can be felt, every year. Starting at age 55, they can switch to every other year. In women at high risk for breast cancer, it may be best to start even sooner than that age. Your doctor can help you determine your risk level.
With early detection and advancements in the treatment of breast cancer, survivorship is on the rise.
The Jane Osborne Center for Women’s Health is located at 223 N. Main St., Suite 103, Cape May Court House. To schedule an appointment, please call (609) 463-CAPE.
For healthier life, we are here for you.
