Team Expands at Reef Family Pharmacy

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Reef Family Pharmacy welcomed its newest pharmacist this month, Pamela Horn, who joins owner Scott Reef in the pharmacy department.  Pamela brings 12 years of experience gained at both independent and chain pharmacies.
“I’ve known Pamela both personally and professionally for many years,” said Scott Reef, owner and pharmacist at Reef Family Pharmacy.  “We’re thrilled to bring her on board, and we look forward to her providing that personal touch with professional expertise for which we are known.”
Pamela received her undergraduate degree from Stockton University and her PharmD degree from the Temple University School of Pharmacy. She worked for seven years at an independent pharmacy and for four years at ShopRite’s pharmacy before she joined Reef Family Pharmacy.
Born and raised in Cape May Court House, Pamela is excited about working in her former hometown. “I’ve seen people that I haven’t seen in a long time, who know me under my maiden name, Turnier, and it feels great to be able to reconnect with them,” she said. “I really like that Reef Family Pharmacy is such an integral part of the community. People feel comfortable sitting down with us to ask about their medications, side effects and potential drug interactions. Patients can enjoy better overall wellness when they can talk to their medical team.”
Pamela will be assisting Scott Reef with the full spectrum of pharmacy needs. She also is available for medication consultations.
When she’s not working, Pamela resides in Ocean City with her husband, Rick, and their youngest daughter. She enjoys being involved in the community and volunteers with Contact Cape Atlantic, an organization that phones homebound residents.
