STONE HARBOR – According to a release from Stone Harbor Police Department,”There is a purposeful internet and text message misrepresentation campaign in effect claiming an imminent national shutdown evoking the Stafford Act. These false claims suggesting an impending “mandatory quarantine” are attempts to leverage the COVID-19 pandemic in order to cause panic and scam unsuspecting residents and to undermine U.S. security.”
