Smoking Cessation Classes Scheduled for January 2017 at Cape Regional Health System

By Press Release

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The Center for Lifestyle Management has scheduled smoking cessation classes each Wednesday in January – January 4, 11, 18 and 25 – from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Brodesser Cancer Center Conference Room, located on the ground floor of Cape Regional Medical Center. The fee for the classes is $25, with a refund of $15 if you attend all of the classes. Please make your check payable to Cape Regional Medical Center.
It is hard to try to quit smoking because nicotine is a very addictive drug. It may take two or three tries before finally being able to quit, but it can be done. The Smoking Cessation Program at Cape Regional Medical Center includes education about risk factors for smoking, nicotine replacement alternatives, lung function testing, stress management and dietary concerns regarding weight gain and relapse prevention.
For more information or to sign up for the program, please contact Bonnie Kratzer, RN, at the Center for Lifestyle Management at (609) 463-4043.
