By Herald Staff

COURT HOUSE — Rutgers Cooperative Extension’s Family and Community Health Sciences Department will host a “Wellness Night” for grandparents raising grandchildren March 4, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., at the Cape May County Technical School, Crest Haven Complex, classroom No. 325. The building is handicap accessible.
Those who want to live a healthier life, surrounded by stress should join and get tips for taking care of the mind, body and spirit. In addition to the educational program, we will provide a “pampering session” for the grandparents. Grand-parents may choose to have their hair styled, a manicure or facial.
There is no charge for this program, but advanced registration is required. Please call 609- 465-5115, ext. “609” by March 1, to register, or for more information. When registering, please indicate the type of “pampering” service you have selected. A light supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. and childcare will be provided.
Support for this program is provided by the County Freeholders, the Cape May County Department of Aging, the Cape May Oceanside Community Club, and Rutgers Cooperative Extension.
