COURT HOUSE – The Second Annual National Cancer Survivors Day Celebration “Rock ‘n Roll The Day Away” will be held on Sunday, June 5 from 1 pm to 3 pm at Cape Regional Medical Center.
The Thomas & Claire Brodesser, Jr. Cancer Center is pleased to host this event that will celebrate cancer survivors and their families of Cape May County. Admission is free.
“Rock ‘n Roll The Day Away” will be held in the Cafeteria on the ground floor of the Medical Center. Special events will fill the afternoon including a special guest appearance by “Elvis,” A Fabulous 50’s Outfit Contest (complete with refreshments and root beer floats), Motivational Speaker and Cancer Survivor, Patti Adorno, “Rock ‘n Roll Bingo with Elvis”, and free massages for the guests.
All guests are encouraged to wear their fabulous 50’s attire and enter the “Fabulous 50’s Outfit Contest” – gifts & prizes will be awarded!
“We are pleased and excited to host the Second Annual Cancer Survivors Day celebration,” stated Terri Netz, RN, ONC, Cancer Center Director. “We encourage cancer survivors to join us in celebrating life; there will be lots of fun mixed in with a few surprises for all our guests!”
Reservations are required. Please call the Radiation Oncology Department at Cape Regional Medical Center at 609-463-2298, Monday – Friday from 8 am – 4 pm. Reservations will be limited to the first 100 guests.
