Red Cross Shelter Information

By Press Release

COURT HOUSE – When Red Cross shelters are opened they will be accessible on www.redcross.org and the Red Cross Hurricane Smartphone App (http://www.redcross.org/mobile-apps/hurricane-app). NJ 2-1-1 personnel are already trained and familiar with reporting to the public where open Red Cross shelters are located in the state (and the surrounding states as well). That’s the best way to relay to the public the most accurate and up-to-date information about Red Cross shelters. We greatly appreciate the help that NJ 2-1-1 is providing for disseminating the correct information on this and other storm related resources.
As shelters are officially opened, they automatically are updated on our www.redcross.org and the Hurricane Smartphone app.
