COURT HOUSE – Weather permitting, the Cape May County Department of Mosquito Control will be treating areas of Cape May County as part of its effort to control adult mosquitoes.
The Department will use Aqua Reslin, trade name for permethrin, and/or Anvil 10+10, trade name for sumithrin, and/or Zenivex, trade name for etofenprox, applied as ultra-low volume aerosols.
Spraying by truck may take place July 19, and/or July 20, between the hours of 7 p.m. and 12 midnight. Portions of the following municipalities that may be sprayed include:
Swainton, Cape May Court House, Mayville, Burleigh, Whitesboro, Rio Grande, Goshen, Dias Creek, Green Creek & Del Haven in Middle Township. Fishing Creek, Cape May Beach, Town Bank, North Cape May, Erma & Cold Spring in Lower Township.
