Middle Township Police Reply to Out-of-State Vehicles in Rio Lot

RIO GRANDE – A reader wrote to the Herald March 25: “Since the governor made the announcement the beginning of the week requesting for all secondary homeowners to stay away, you might want to look into why the parking lot is full of out state tagged cars at Menz’s restaurant on Fulling Mill Road. Is this the overflow parking from Enterprise? Are they renting cars to try to blend in? Locals need answers”

 

Police Response

Middle Township Police Department replied via a Nixle message, “We have been made aware of questions and concerns about many vehicles from out-of-state parked in the Menz’s Restaurant in Rio Grande. These are overflow vehicles from Enterprise Rent-A-Car located just down the street on Route 47 in Rio Grande.
