Jennifer Macomber, Hospitalist Coordinator at Cape Regional, Honored with Service Excellence Award

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Jennifer Macomber, Hospitalist Coordinator, has been honored with the Service Excellence of the Month Award at Cape Regional Health System for December 2015. 
“Jennifer is always pleasant and makes the conscious decision every day to have a good day. She is pleasant at all times and always follows through with any task to which she commits. Not only does she do a wonderful job keeping the Hospitalist program organized, she often goes the extra mile. What a wonderful attitude! Many thanks to Jennifer! She is truly a difference maker,” stated Cynthia Markley, Physician Billing.
“Jennifer is truly a caring and compassionate person. She consistently closes the loop until the patient’s needs are met. Jennifer follows up with the patients after discharge from both the hospital setting and rehabilitation. Her interdepartmental interactions are consistently professional and pleasant,” added Linda McGovern, Care Management and Kathy McLeer, Cape Regional Home Care and Hospice.
“This is truly one of the most rewarding accomplishments in my life. My whole life has been to serve God and try to make a difference in someone’s life,” stated Ms. Macomber. “He has blessed me in so many ways, that every day I work to be that light for Him.”
Jennifer Macomber has been a team member at Cape Regional Health System since 2012, originally serving as a Front Desk Assistant at the Rio Grande office of Cape Regional Physicians Associates. In February 2015, Ms. Macomber was promoted to Hospitalist Coordinator serving the inpatient Hospitalist Physician Practice. Jennifer and her husband, Dave live in North Cape May and enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding with their family. The couple has six children, Ashley, Nicolle, Emily, Michael, David and Melissa Joy, and three grandsons, Seth, Kory and Emerson.
