COURT HOUSE – Rutgers Cooperative Extension’s Family and Community Health Sciences Department will host a discussion entitled “Alcohol Awareness: Facing the Tough Issues” for the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group. Pat Horvath, Student Assistance Counselor from the Ocean City School District will lead the program. The discussion will spotlight the issues and threats facing our children from the prevalence of drugs, alcohol and tobacco use in our area.
The event will be held on May 11, 2011 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Building located at 355 Courthouse-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House. (Turn at the light at ACCC, it is the first building on the right). The building is handicap accessible. Childcare will be provided for the grandchildren. A light supper for the grandparents and grandchildren will be offered at 5:30PM, and the program will follow at 6:00PM.
