Four Early-Stage Alzheimer’s Programs to be Held at Cape Regional

COURT HOUSE — Cape Regional Medical Center will present an Early Stage Alzheimer’s Program on Feb. 3 and 17 and March 3 and 17 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. The meetings will be held in the Maruchi Room (2/3/15 and 3/3/15) on the first floor and in Classroom A (2/17/15 and 3/17/15) on the ground floor of the Medical Center.
The purpose of this Early Stage Support Group Program is to provide a safe and supportive environment of peers who are living in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia and their family or care partner. The program will offer dementia-related education, emotional support, and connections with resources so that the group members may enhance their lives in the midst of the disease.
Those who have been diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease and family members or caregivers may call Bonnie Kratzer at 609-463-4043 for more information and to register for this free educational and supportive program.
The Parish Nurse Program and the Center for Lifestyle Management at Cape Regional Medical Center provides free health screenings at the Medical Center and throughout the Cape May County Community. They also conduct health education series that cover a variety of health and wellness related topics.
