Crest School Conducting CHILD FIND Campaign

By Herald Staff

WILDWOOD CREST – The Wildwood Crest Child Study Team is conducting a Child Find campaign to locate and provide services for children ages three to five who reside in Wildwood Crest and who may have significant physical, intellectual, language, or emotional difficulties.
Project Child Find was established by the New Jersey Department of Education as a free public awareness and referral service to assist parents and professionals by identifying available early intervention, preschool handicapped, and special education programs throughout New Jersey.
In addition, Project Chad Find develops and distributes information to the public about early intervention and special education services for children from birth through 21 years of age. Information is also available for early intervention services for special needs children from birth to three years of age.
To schedule a three to five-year-old Wildwood Crest Child for pre-school assessment, call Linda Matthews, Child Study Team Secretary at 609- 522-1522 ext. 113.
