COURT HOUSE – Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center held its 7th Annual Family Picnic on Aug. 15, 2011. Freeholder Gerald Thornton said, “Despite the rain and cloudy skies – fun was had by all in attendance.”
The event, coordinated by the Recreation Department at Crest Haven, was open to family members of both the residents and the staff of the Center. Activities included face painting, games and other adventures for the kids. Plus a Zumba Fitness class was open to everyone in attendance.
Crest Haven supplied a lunch of chicken, hot dogs and hamburgers catered by Spankies BBQ. Following lunch, music was performed by “Christine,” featuring her entertaining sing-along songs.
