COURT HOUSE – In a March 28 release, the Cape May County Department of Health announced the county’s 10th case of COVID-19.
The latest patient is a 12-year-old female who is recovering at her residence.
According to department statistics, municipalities in the county with reported cases are:
Avalon, 1
Cape May, 2
Lower Township, 1
Middle Township, 3
Ocean City, 1
Sea Isle City, 1
Upper Township, 1
No other municipalities have recorded cases.
The release noted that the state had become the second leading state in the nation with 8,825 cases, and 108 deaths.
“There is currently nno treatment for COVID-19, which is why social distancing is so important,” stated Health Officer Kevin Thomas. “We urge our residents to continue social distancing and taking all standard precautions such as washing hands and frequently cleaning touched surfaces.”
Lower Township – Who are these people that are obvious experts on trash cans and leaf pick-up? Maybe they don't have any trash to put out or leaves in their yard!!
