CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – On a beautiful, sunny fall Sunday afternoon, 60 guests gathered at the Abbie Holmes Estate joined by Cape Regional Health System Team Members to focus on “girl time” and the impact of caring for ourselves in the midst of the busy lives women lead. Dr. Patricia Martz, General Surgeon specializing in breast health and care, spoke with the women about the importance of breast care through the many different phases of life.
Catered by the Xenia Catering at the Abbie Holmes Estate, guests enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and a beautiful array of desserts and refreshing beverages. “We would like to thank the merchants who helped to make our first “Just Us Girls” event a fun day away from the regular routine – Arlene Vogt, Yoga Instructor; Katie Arenberg, Massage Therapist; Kitty Holzmer, Creative Wellness & Young Living Essential Oils; Melissa Musser, Cape Regional Physical Therapy; Stephanie Piratzky, Premier Jewelry; Sheri Patitucci, Cape Radiology; and Theresa Netz and Joan Lappin, Brodesser Cancer Center,” stated Thomas J. Piratzky, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations at Cape Regional Health System. “We would also like to express our gratitude to Dr. Patricia Martz for sharing her story, wisdom and knowledge on this important issue of women’s wellness with warmth and compassion.”
““Just Us Girls” is the first of what Cape Regional Foundation hopes will be an annual event,” stated Piratzky. “It was so well received by our community, and the women who attended were so grateful for an opportunity to take some time for an afternoon of rest and refreshment.”
