CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The Diabetes Center at Cape Regional is hosting its monthly Diabetes Support Group on Thursday, April 13 from 2 to 3 p.m. in Classrooms A & B at Cape Regional Medical Center.
Arlene Vogt, Certified Yoga Instructor, will present Beginner Breathing and Meditation Techniques. Please wear comfortable clothing. Everyone is encouraged to attend and admission is free. Please RSVP by calling (609) 463-2547.
Arlene Vogt began practicing yoga in 2000. When she realized that she wanted to share her love of yoga with others, she began teacher training and has been teaching since 2006. Arlene continues to study yoga and has achieved additional certifications, including specialty trainings for those people with injuries or serious illnesses.
Arlene’s teaching style is that of encouragement; she likes to challenge her students, while at the same time, reminding them not to force their way into a practice and always offers modifications. She believes that yoga is about focusing on the positive; it is about what you can do. Incorporating meditation and philosophy lessons is also an important part of her plan for her students.
