Free Blood Pressure Screening
Cape Regional Health System will offer free blood pressure screenings from 9 a.m. to noon, on Fridays, July 7 and 21 in the Outpatient South Lobby. Call 463-4043 for more information.
AA and AlAnon Support Groups
AA and AlAnon Support Groups meet Sundays, July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 at 10 a.m. in Classrooms A & B and 3 & 4. The AA and AlAnon Groups meet Mondays, July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 at 7 p.m. in Conference Rooms 3 & 4 & 5. AA meets Wednesdays, July 5, 12, 19 and 26 in Rooms 3 & 4 at 8:30 p.m. New members are welcome. Please call 463-4043 for more information.
Grief Support Group
Cape Regional Health System’s Grief Support Group will meet on Wednesdays, July 5 and 19 at 3 p.m. in the Maruchi Room. New members are welcome. Call 463-4043 for more information.
Diabetes Management Series
This is a comprehensive eight-hour program on diabetes management techniques, including education, meal planning, medications, exercise and blood-glucose monitoring. This class series will be held at the Medical Center, Wednesdays, July 5, 12, 19 and 26 at 6 p.m. in Classrooms A & B. Fee and registration – please call Florence Smith at 463-2547.
Diabetes Support Group
This is a support group meeting with changing diabetes related topics. The meeting is Thursday, July 13 at 2 p.m. in Classrooms A & B.
CPR Certification
CPR certification will be offered at Cape Regional Medical Center on Saturday, July 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Classrooms A & B. The fee is $80 which includes manual; $65 without a manual. Pre-registration is required. Please call 463-4043.
CPR Recertification
CPR recertification will be offered at Cape Regional Medical Center on Thursday, July 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Classrooms A & B. The fee is $45 for class and $60 for class and manual. Pre-registration is required. Please call 463-4043.
Breast Cancer Support Group
This is a support group for those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, those who are survivors of breast cancer and their families. The group will meet in the Maruchi Room at Cape Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, July 11 at 2 p.m.
Prostate Cancer Support Group
This is a group meeting in Cape May County to provide education and support for both newly diagnosed as well as treated prostate cancer survivors. This group will meet on Tuesday, July 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Maruchi Room at Cape Regional Medical Center. Please call 463-4043 for more information.
Bariatric Support Group
The Bariatric support group will meet on Wednesday, July 5 for those seeking information for bariatric surgery. The meeting will be held at 223 N. Main St. in Cape May Court House at 6:30 p.m. New members are welcome. For more information, please call 463-1488.
Diabetic Education held in Marmora

This group will meet at Cape Regional Medical Center on Fridays, July 7, 14, 21 and 28 at 7 p.m. in Conference Rooms 3 & 4.
Childbirth Education
Birth Made Simple will be held on Tuesdays, July 11, 18 and 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cape Regional Medical Center. Pre-registration is necessary. Please call 463-4043.
PAD Screening
Free peripheral artery disease screening is available at Cape Regional Medical Center on Friday, July 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Please call 463-4043 for an appointment.
