Free Blood Pressure Screening
Cape Regional Health System will offer free blood pressure screenings from 9 a.m. to noon on Fridays, Jan. 6 and 20 in the Outpatient South Lobby. Call (609) 463-4043 for more information.
AA and AlAnon Support Groups
AA and AlAnon Support Groups meet Sundays, Jan. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 10 a.m. in Classrooms A & B and 3 & 4. The AA and AlAnon Groups meet Mondays, Jan. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 at 7 p.m. in Conference Rooms 3, 4 & 5. AA meets Wednesdays, Jan. 4, 11, 18 and 25 at 8:30 p.m. in Rooms 3 & 4. Grief Support Group
Cape Regional Health System’s Grief Support Group will meet on Wednesdays, Jan. 4 and 18 at 3 p.m. in the Maruchi Room. New members are welcome. Call (609) 463-4043 for more information.
Caregiver Support Group
This group is for anyone who is caring for a friend or family member. The meeting will be Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 1 p.m. in the Maruchi Room. For more information, please call Bonnie Kratzer at (609) 463-4043.
Diabetes Management Series
This is a comprehensive eight-hour program on diabetes management techniques, including education, meal planning, medications, exercise and blood-glucose monitoring. This class series will be held at the Medical Center on Fridays, Jan. 6, 13, 20 and 27 at 6 p.m. in Classrooms A & B. Fee and registration apply. Please call Florence Smith at (609) 463-2547.
Diabetes Support Group
This is a support group meeting with changing diabetes related topics. The meeting is Thursday, Jan. 12 at 12 p.m. in Classrooms A & B.
CPR Certification
CPR certification will be offered at Cape Regional Medical Center on Saturday, Jan 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Classrooms A & B. The fee is $80 which includes a manual, or $65 without a manual. Pre-registration is required. Please call (609) 463-4043.
CPR Recertification
CPR recertification will be offered at Cape Regional Medical Center on Thursday, Jan. 19 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Classrooms A & B. The fee is $60 which includes a manual, or $45 without a manual. Pre-registration is required. Please call (609) 463-4043.
Breast Cancer Support Group
This is a support group for those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, or those who are survivors of breast cancer, and their families. The group will meet in the Maruchi Room at Cape Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 2 p.m.
Prostate Cancer Support Group
This is a group meeting in Cape May County to provide education and support for both newly diagnosed as well as treated prostate cancer survivors. This group will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Maruchi Room at Cape Regional Medical Center. Please call (609) 463-4043 for more information.
Bariatric Support Group
The Bariatric support group will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 4 for those seeking information for bariatric surgery. The meeting will be held at 223 N. Main Street in Cape May Court House at 6:30 p.m. New members are welcome. For more information, please call (609) 463-1488.

This group will meet at Cape Regional Medical Center on Fridays, Jan. 6, 13, 20 and 27 at 7 p.m. in Conference Rooms 3 & 4.
Pain Management Support Group
The Pain Management Support Group will be held on Monday, Jan. 9 at 2 p.m. in the Maruchi room at Cape Regional Medical Center. This is a support group for those experiencing chronic pain in their lives. Please call (609) 463-4043 for more information.
Smoking Cessation
A four-week program to help stop smoking will be held at Cape Regional Medical Center on Wednesdays, Jan. 4, 11, 18 and 25 at 3 p.m. in the Cancer Center. There is a $25 registration fee with $15 refunded upon completion of the course. Please call (609) 463-4043 for more information and to register for the program.
