CAPE MAY – The Cape May Recreation Department is offering a diverse variety of year-round fitness programs as follows:
Transformational Pilates (Sun. from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.)
Boot Camp (Mon. and Wed. 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.)
Jazz Aerobics (Mon., Wed. and Fri. 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.)
Total Training with Tracy (Thurs. 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.)
Low Impact Aerobics and Stretching (Tues. and Thurs. 4:00 – 4:45 p.m.)
Zumba with Angie (Tues., 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.)
Zumba Gold (Tues. and Thurs. (9:00 – 10:00 a.m.)
Intro to Yoga (Wed. 11:00 am – noon and Sat. 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.)
Zumba for Kids (Sat. 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)
Adult Ballet Sculpt (Tues. 11:00 – noon)
Adult Ballet Sculpt Pilates Fusion (Fri. 11:00 – noon)
Jazz Aerobics:
Upbeat music and jazz dance style routines keep you moving and motivated to get in shape. Great for adults without much aerobics experience. Tues., Wed. and Fri. 9:30 – 10:300 a.m. at the Franklin Street School gym. Purchase a 10 Class punch card for $30, or $4 per class.
Chair Aerobics and Stretching Class:
Easy to learn low impact workout for seniors or anyone who needs to limit the strain and stress on joints. A complete and gentle way to work on cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength, flexibility and mobility. Wear comfortable clothes. Mon. and Wed. 11:00 – 11:45 a.m. Cape May Elementary School. Purchase a 10 Class punch card for $30, or $4 per class.
Zumba with Kelly:
Zumba is a fitness/dance class that uses Latin, international and current pop songs, along with easy to follow moves to create an exhilarating and fun aerobic workout. Wear sneakers or other appropriate footwear. Thurs. 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. Franklin Street School gym beginning Nov. 11. $5 per class.
All classes are held at the Franklin Street Civic center Gym except Low Impact Aerobics, which is at the Cape May Elementary School. The fee is $5 per class for all classes.
