WILDWOOD – Cape Assist a local community prevention agency announced that counseling services for substance abuse will now be offered in Wildwood. The program will be taking a personalized approach to client care, understanding that clients come to us needing help in changing addictive behaviors. Cape Assist’s method to care is client-centered in the belief that true change comes from the internal motivation of the individual.
At this time all services are being offered at Cape Assist’s main office at 3819 New Jersey Avenue, Wildwood, NJ. Appointments can be made by calling (609) 522-5960. While some services are free, there is a small fee for some services with a sliding scale pay rate for individuals with low income and there is some grant funding available.
Cape Assist has delivered drug and alcohol prevention service in Cape May County for 30 years to residents and guests of Cape May County. This expansion into counseling means that Cape Assist can now offer more needed services to the area. “Counseling services for drug and alcohol abuse are now operational” said Lynne Krukosky, Executive Director, “We are very excited to expand our services to help meet the need in Cape May County for drug and alcohol counseling and hope to add more services shortly.”
