Building Healthy Kids Coalition Meeting Set

COURT HOUSE — Rutgers Cooperative Extension’s Family and Community Health Sciences Department will host a Building Healthy Kids Coalition Breakfast Meeting entitled “USDA Dietary Guidelines – New Rules for Healthy Eating.”
This meeting will be a presentation and discussion of the USDA dietary guidelines recently issued for maximum nutrition and health. The program is scheduled for Fri., April 29, at 9:30 a.m at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Meeting Room, 355 Court House-So Dennis Road Court House.

The Coalition is a committee of professionals interested in the health and wellbeing of children.
The initiative focuses on combating childhood obesity by promoting school wellness, strengthening families and improving the health of the community.
