Brendan Borek High Tides Memorial Fund Events

COURT HOUSE – Throughout the year Brendan’s Fund holds fundraising events to support our programs to assist Cape May County families who have a child or young adult with cancer. The community continues to show a tremendous outpouring of support for these events. We truly appreciate the support we receive from all those who attend.
Monday, August 15: Crabcake Day at Sylvester’s Fish Market & Restaurant (21st and 5th Ave.) from 11:00 a.m. through closing. Net proceeds from Crabcakes served benefit Brendan’s Fund.
Wednesday, August 17: Pizza at Circle Pizza (2108 Dune Dr.), all day, net proceeds from pizza sales go to Brendan’s Fund.
Thursday, August 18: Pancakes at Fishin’ Pier Grille (32nd and the Boardwalk), all day, net proceeds benefit the Fund.
Friday, August 19: Method Skate Jam hosted by the Avalon Recreation Department at 10:30 a.m., 29th and the Boardwalk. Free entry skate contest and lots of giveaways.
Movie Night, Friday August 19: Avalon Community Hall from 7-9 p.m. This year Scott Soens is bringing another surf adventure. “One man’s creation will form a collective consciousness.” Join us to watch the science fiction “0000″ pronounced “Year Zero” doors open: 7 p.m. August 19, donation $5. Bring your friends.
