On Saturday, September 14, The Brodesser Cancer Center at Cape Regional Medical Center will host the 2013 Men’s Health Day. There will be free screenings for prostate cancer, colorectal cancer and testicular cancer. The screenings will be held from 9 am to 1 pm in the Cancer Center located on the ground floor of the Medical Center.
“Cancer screenings are an important preventative measure that should be taken in protecting our health,” stated David Cho M.D., a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist and member of the Cancer Care Team at Cape Regional Medical Center. “It is vitally important that men take the time to receive regular screenings,” Dr. Cho added.
Dr. Cho will be on site for Men’s Health Day and will perform the screenings along with Anthony Masciarelli, D.O., Board-Certified Gastroenterologist with Cape Regional Physicians Associates.
“This will mark the 13th year that we have been providing these screenings,” stated Terri Netz, RN, ONC, Director of Radiation Oncology. “We have found at least one diagnosis of prostate cancer each year, and we want to emphasize the importance of early detection.”
Registration is required and space is limited; please call 609-463-2298 today to make your appointment.
