WILDWOOD – Sunset Lake in Wildwood Crest, located along New Jersey Avenue, will be the backdrop for one of the Wildwoods’ longest running annual events – the 73rd Annual Greater Wildwood Yacht Club Regatta taking place Sunday, August 14.
This free event, which debuted in the Wildwoods in 1938, will feature over 60 sailboats racing along Sunset Lake with racers traveling from Atlantic and Cape May counties and as far as northern New Jersey to compete.
The Mid-Atlantic Yacht Racing Association regatta will feature 420 fleets and Laser fleets.
Races take place from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and are FREE to attend.
