CAPE MAY — The Center for Community Arts has announced that as a part of its fall program for YAP (Youth Arts Program) the participants, accompanied by art teachers, parents and volunteers will spend the day at the Philadelphia Art Museum on Sat., Nov. 20.
The bus will leave from a location to be determined at 8 a.m. and return in the early evening. The trip is free of charge to YAP participants. To register, call the Center for Community Arts 609- 884-7525.
The fall YAP programs are held in Cape May and in Wildwood on Saturday nights from 5-9 pm and in Lower Township from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The group meets in Cape May at Lyle Hall at the Cape May United Methodist Church, 635 Washington St. and in Wildwood the group meets at Cape Assist, 3819 New Jersey Ave.
In Lower Township the group meets at the Millman Center, 209 Bayshore Road, Villas. A light snack is provided and all programs are free of charge.
This fall the topic of the sessions is “The Art of Communication.” Sessions for this fall beginning on Oct. 23 and continuing through Dec. 11 include creating family crests, making flag designs, and exploring photography.
