ERMA — Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum and The Collings Foundation have extended AirFest and The Wings of Freedom Tour for 2010.
This year, AirFest will take place over Labor Day Weekend, Fri. Sept. 3 through Mon. Sept. 6. The museum will host the event which will include music, food, vendors, exhibits, a live radio remote by 98.7 The Coast and much more.
Stop by NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum to experience this “living history” event. Famous WWII aircraft will be visiting Cape May County and historic Hangar No. 1 for four days. The tour will feature the P-51 Mustang, B-17 Flying Fortress and B-24 Liberator.

NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum boasts over 26 aircraft displays as well as exhibits of military memorabilia, engines, photographs, interactive exhibits that allow visitors to discover the science of flight and more. Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum is located in Historic Hangar No. 1 at the Cape May Airport, New Jersey. Cape May Airport was formerly Naval Air Station Wildwood, which served as a World War II dive-bomber training center.
The museum is dedicated to the 42 airmen who perished while training at Naval Air Station Wildwood between 1943 and 1945.
