Winnie the Pooh Live on Stage July 11

By Sponsored Content

OCEAN CITY – The Greater Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) welcomes Winnie the Pooh and friends to the stage of the Ocean City Music Pier on July 8 at 10:30 a.m. and the Moorlyn Family Theatre on July 11 at 10:30 a.m.
Winnie-the-Pooh is Christopher Robin’s fat little bear of Very Little Brain, who would like to drift peacefully through life, humming tunes and stopping frequently to eat “a little something.” However, he finds himself involved in all sorts of frantic adventures, assisted by such friends as the dismal Eeyore, loveable Piglet and uptight Rabbit. Pooh’s intentions are always the best, but his passion for honey and condensed milk keeps getting him into trouble. The adventures of Pooh and his friend through Hundred Acre Wood will come to life in this special staged musical for two shows only in Ocean City, NJ.
OCTC’s professional Children’s Theatre Series is under the direction of John Anker Bow with Andrew Hink as Music Director and Rachel Marlowe as Choreographer. “So many special memories will be created as kids, families and the young at heart enjoy live family theatre at an affordable price,” said Michael Hartman, Artistic Director.
Imaginative costumes, creative sets, talented performers, classic stories, favorite characters and the magic of live theatre will be a special part of the Summer Season in Ocean City with Winnie the Pooh July 8 and 11, Jack and the Beanstalk July 15 and 18, Dorothy Meets Alice: The Wizard of Wonderland July 22 and 25, Rapunzel July 29 and the world-premier of the musical Uberboy: The Story of a Hero August 5.
All tickets are $10.00 per person.
