Wings ‘n Water Festival Set for Sept.

COURT HOUSE – Experience the tidewater celebration of South Jersey’s coastal heritage and environment – the 29th Annual Wings ‘n Water Festival – scheduled for the weekend of September 17-18, 2011 in various locations in Stone Harbor, Middle Township and Avalon.
Festival highlights include:
•Carving, fly tying and painting demonstrations
•Live animals from the famous Peabody ducks to birds of prey to retriever dogs and an Aquarium touch tank
•Opportunity to participate in releasing baby Diamondback terrapins into the bay
•Face painting and arts and crafts for the kids
•Boat rides, kayaking, rubber duck races
•Dune walks, bird walks and salt marsh safaris
•A chowder champion contest and wine tasting
•Art, photography, decoy and quilt exhibits
•Folk music
