Wildwoods Convention Center Welcomes Writers

WILDWOOD – The 12th Annual North Wildwood Beach Writers’ Conference returns to the Wildwoods Convention Center June 3 and June 4. The conference welcomes published authors, new authors, aspiring authors and those who enjoy reading and would like to meet those who put the words on the page. Speakers will talk on a variety of subjects ranging from writing mysteries, children’s stories, plays, historical novels, poetry and memoirs.
This year’s speakers include: Steven James (Patrick Bowers and Jevin Banks series); Tom Monteleone (Complete Idiot’s Guide to Writing a Novel); Sheree Bykofsky (The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Getting Published); Lorraine Ranalli (Gravy Wars, South Philly Foods, Feuds & Attytudes) and many more.
The Beach Writers’ Conference will also feature writing contests, manuscript evaluations, giveaways, a book bazaar, a networking cocktail party and one-on-one conversations with editor Paul Dinas. A “meet and greet” will be held June 3 from 7 – 9:30 p.m. in the Glass Room of the Bolero Resort, where multi-talented presenters will do dramatic readings and musical performances. The Bolero Resort is located at 3320 Atlantic Avenue in Wildwood.
