Wildwoods Convention Center to Host Beach Grappling Tournament Aug. 2-4

THE WILDWOODS – The North American Grappling Association presents the Battle at the Beach Grappling Tournament at the Wildwoods Convention Center Aug. 2 through Aug. 4. This three-day event will feature various competitions of mixed martial arts fighting and grappling with contestants from the tri-state area.
Friday’s competition begins at 8 p.m. with 10 mixed martial arts fights in a 30-foot hexagon cage featuring the region’s best MMA fighters. Ticket prices start at $30 per person.
Saturday and Sunday grappling competitions will feature 400 gi and no-gi divisions, and awards will be presented to the winners in each category. Saturday’s competition takes place from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and will feature adults and teens only. Sunday’s competition will take place from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and will feature children only.
Ticket prices are $10 in advance until July 26 or $15 at the door thereafter. Children seven years old and under are free.
