Wildwood Seeks Comment on New Community Board

By Press Release

WILDWOOD — Wildwood Commissioners this week will begin to formally consider dissolution of the City’s Recreation Commission in order to create a more comprehensive advisory committee, the Community Activities Board.
The new board’s missions would include creating processes that increase citizen input on community issues such as recreation, police-community relations, and environmental matters.
“The consolidation of overly-specific commissions into a multi-faceted advisory committee will, hopefully, promote citizen interest and involvement,” City Administrator Dale Goodreau commented.
Citizens are invited to share their opinions at the Commissioners Meeting on Wed., July 28, at which the first reading of the creation of the Community Activities Board is scheduled.
