Wildwood Fourth of July Event Calendar

WILDWOOD – The upcoming Fourth of July in the Wildwoods means two weeks packed with fun events – all free to attend!
June 28 through June 30 – North Wildwood Original Italian-American Festival
This annual event takes place along Olde New Jersey Avenue from 4-10 p.m. on June 28; 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on June 29; and noon-6 p.m. on June 30 and include food, music, vendors and more.
June 29 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – New! Wildwood Crest Sand Sculpting Festival
On the beach at Heather Road alongside the Beach Pier. The first annual Wildwood Crest Amateur Sand Sculpting Contest is free and open to all ages.The contest is being held by Can You Dig It Sand Tools and directed by internationally known sand sculptor Matt Long. Live music from Twelve:01 and The Mango Men will be featured throughout the competition.
Fourth of July Thursday Family Fun is free in the Wildwoods:
Independence Day Parade- 9 .a.m
Begins at 9:00 a.m. at 15th and Atlantic Avenues and proceeds north to 2nd Avenue.
The Patriotic Pooch Parade will join in the march of the Independence Day Parade through the island at 8th and Atlantic Avenues in North Wildwood.
The Beach ‘n Boardwalk 5K Run and 1-Mile Family Walk – 9-11 a.m.
Begin at the iconic Wildwoods Sign located at Rio Grande and Ocean Avenues, and travel north to the Wildwoods Convention Center then down the boardwalk extension to the beach. The 1-Mile Walk will head down the Wildwoods Boardwalk to Cresse Avenue and back to the Wildwoods Convention Center.
The Jimmy Buffett tribute band, “Changes in Latitude” – 6 p.m.
This free concert takes place at Fox Park on Burke and Ocean Avenues in Wildwood.
The Philadelphia Mummers – 7-9 p.m.
The Mummers will strut along the Wildwoods Boardwalk from 16th Street in North Wildwood to the Wildwoods Convention Center.
Wildwood Talent Showcase -7 p.m.
Dancers from ages 6 to 18 will perform at the Wildwood Bandshell, located at Schellenger Avenue and the Boardwalk.
free live music with the Manhattan Dolls – 7:30 p.m.
This patriotic show takes place in Wildwood Crest at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue.
A Spectacular free Fireworks Show begins at 10:00 p.m. visible from anywhere in the Wildwoods.
Following the exciting Fourth of July activities, the fun continues on July 5 at the Wildwood Convention Center:

July 5 – July 7 – The Sports Card, Toys, Comics & Collectibles Show
The event takes place Friday, 3-9 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
