Wildwood Crest 5K Beach Run August 6

WILDWOOD CREST – The annual Wildwood Crest 5K Beach Run will be held Saturday, Aug. 6 at 6:30 p.m. on the beautiful beaches of Wildwood Crest. The run will begin and end at the edge of the Wildwood Crest Beach Pier at Heather Road and will be held on an out-and-back all-beach course exclusively in Wildwood Crest.
The event also includes an untimed one-mile fun run/walk.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female finishers in categorized age groups, in the 5K run.
All pre-registered competitors will receive a long-sleeve T-shirt. Race-day registrants will receive a long-sleeve T-shirt as supplies last. Refreshments will be available and random prizes will be awarded during the awards ceremony following the completion of the race.
Registration fees are $15 for the 5K run and $10 for the one-mile fun run if registered by Aug. 1. Fees are $20 and $15 after Aug. 1. Race-day registration and check-in will be held at the Crest Pier Recreation Center at Heather Road and Ocean Avenue beginning at 5 p.m.

The Wildwood Crest 5K Beach Run is hosted by the Wildwood Crest Recreation Department. The event is partly supported by the Greater Wildwood Tourism improvement and Development Authority
